EL Industry Days 2026

Hosted by: EL, Loterie Nationale Morocco, with support by EL Level I Partners Brightstar Lottery, Scientific Games & Level II Partner Aristocrat Interactive, and ALA

Dear EL Member,

Together with the EL Executive Committee, Loterie Nationale (Morocco) as the hosting lottery, and with the support of the EL Partners and African Lotteries Association (ALA), we warmly invite you to the EL Industry Days in Marrakech (Morocco) from 7-10 June 2026.

Under the theme “Lotteries Bridging Continents”, this event is a chance to explore how our collective impact is even stronger when we work together and share ideas, best practices, and innovation across borders.

Connecting Europe and Africa is a unique opportunity to address our shared priorities: advancing our positive societal impact, leveraging new technologies, confronting irresponsible and illegal practices, and reaffirming national lotteries as a recognisable and trusted driver of public good.

We look forward to welcoming you to Marrakech in 2026.

On behalf of all the organising parties, warm regards,

Romana Girandon
EL President

Registration opens in early January

The Venue

The EL Industry Days 2026 take place at the Es Saadi Resort (Rue Ibrahim El Mazini, Hivernage, Marrakech 40000, Morocco).

Located in the heart of Marrakech’s Hivernage district, this venue offers a refined blend of Moroccan elegance and contemporary comfort.

Comprising the Es Saadi Palace and the Es Saadi Hotel, the resort provides a serene environment within walking distance of the city’s main attractions while delivering the discretion, service quality, and infrastructure required for high-level professional events.

Meeting and Conference Facilities

Es Saadi features a dedicated conference centre designed to accommodate both plenary sessions and breakout formats. The Jean Bauchet Auditorium, the resort’s main plenary room, provides an ideal setting for large gatherings, offering a professional atmosphere, excellent acoustics, and modern technical capabilities.

The Programme

Under the theme ''Lotteries Bridging Continents'', the Industry Days will feature a rich programme exploring how our collective impact is even stronger when we work together and share ideas, best practices, and innovation across borders.

Welcome to Marrakech

Set against the backdrop of the High Atlas Mountains, Marrakech is a city where rich history and vibrant culture come together. Its UNESCO-listed medina invites exploration through lively souks, traditional riads, and architectural treasures.

Alongside its deep cultural heritage, Marrakech is also embracing sustainability and social development, supporting local craftsmanship and advancing greener urban initiatives. Marrakech offers the perfect setting for our 2026 Industry Days.

Important information about accommodation

To ensure a smooth and secure stay in Marrakech, participants are requested to book their accommodation through EL during the registration process.

Marrakech travel

Travel

For your convenience, shuttle transfers between Marrakech Ménara airport and the venue/hotels will run every 30 minutes on Sunday June 7 and Monday June 8 and then back to the airpot on Wednesday June 9.

Once in Marrakech, taxis and ride-shares offer the most straightforward way to reach key sites. For a more local flavour, the city’s narrow medina streets — best explored on foot — invite wandering through souks and historic quarters.
