Welcome to the 12th EL Congress in Bern, Switzerland, from 14 to 17 September 2025!
Lotteries have always been a force for good - bringing people together, supporting communities, funding public projects, and evolving alongside society. As the world changes, we embrace progress while staying true to our purpose.
With the theme "Building a Better World,'' the Congress will bring together lottery leaders, innovators, and policymakers to shape the future of lotteries. From responsible innovation to regulatory challenges, we will focus on ensuring lotteries remain relevant and trusted for generations to come.
The Trade Show will showcase innovations shaping the sector, while the 2025 EL Advertising Awards will celebrate excellence in lottery marketing. The Congress will conclude with the EL General Assembly on 17 September.
Bern, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a model of sustainability, blends history with progress, making it the ideal setting to drive innovation and reinforce our societal role.

This year's edition takes place at the Kursaal (Kornhausstrasse 3, 3013 Bern). Alongside the official Congress programme, there will be the opportunity to network and visit the Trade Show, bringing you novelties to inspire your lottery products and operations for the coming years.
Did you know that the Kursaal is home to beehives on its terrace? This not only continues a tradition of gifting honey produced by the bees, but also supports local biodiversity!
