
EL Advertising Awards 2023

The 11th EL Congress (June 4-7, 2023, Šibenik | Croatia) continues the tradition of the EL Advertising Awards, designed to acknowledge and promote best practices in lottery advertising.
Submissions can only made via the form below with the deadline of 26 May 2023 at 23:59 CET

The best commercial in each of the five categories will win an EL Advertising Award.
In addition, one of the winning commercials will be awarded the EL Grand Prix 2023.

Categories
- Corporate campaign commercial
- Draw Based Game commercial
- (Online) Instant Game commercial
- Sports Betting commercial
- Responsible Gaming (NEW!)

Eligibility
- Only EL Regular Members are eligible to enter.
- A maximum of three entries per EL Regular Member per category is allowed.
- Commercials should be valid within the last term of the EL Executive Committee (2021-2023).
- Commercials should be in English language or with English subtitles.
- Commercials can be in the form of television ads, cinema, digital (online/social media campaigns) and radio.
- The entry fee is 250 EUR (ex VAT) per submission. One commercial = one submission.

Judging Procedure
- A jury will assess submissions according to defined criteria and select a shortlist of submissions in each category.
- The shortlist will be available during a dedicated moment at the Congress & Trade Show.
- Participants at the Congress will be able to vote once for their favourite commercial in each category. The vote will take place via a voting tool during the Awards Ceremony section of the programme.
- Participants will also be able to vote once for their favourite commercial to win the EL Grand Prix 2023.
- The winner of each category will be announced and presented an Award during the Awards Ceremony. One of the winning commercials will be presented with the EL Grand Prix 2023.

Judging criteria
- Impact/effectiveness of the game/product/service;
- Information content (relevance to target audience);
- Design/aesthetic appeal;
- Creativity;
- Uniqueness;
- Storytelling;
- Ability to gain and maintain the customer’s attention, and;
- Ability to change customer perception.
