From Terminals to Tickets: Tackling Retail Emissions in the Lottery Value Chain

The EL Environmental Initiative will host a focused webinar on Scope 3 emissions, bringing together sustainability leaders from the sector.

  • Karol De Decker (Belgian National Lottery) will share insights on how lotteries can identify, calculate, and reduce indirect emissions relating to retail operations, addressing practical challenges around lottery terminals, paper consumption and the production and distribution.
  • Heidi Florence will share a variety of examples from EL Environmental Initiative member lotteries who have taken steps to reduce waste, adopt the principles of circularity and lower emissions associated with retail operations.
  • Adding a supplier perspective, Dustin Lee from Pollard Banknote Limited will speak about how Pollard is working to support lotteries’ achieve their Scope 3 ambitions.
