EL Public Procurement Workshop
This is a FREE event for EL Regular Lottery Members only.
Public procurement is undeniably extremely important for the proper functioning of the internal market. However, the process is often cited as slow, overly complicated and burdensome. A number of lotteries are subject to public procurement by law.
A dedicated workshop aims to take a closer look into the challenges they face and how to possibly overcome them in practical terms. It will open with an expert insight into the European public procurement policy and legislation as well as an overview of relevant case-law. This will be followed by a deep dive into real-life case studies of selected lotteries and an interactive exchange among all the attendees on their own challenges, experiences and best practices.
The workshop will be facilitated by Virginie Dor, Lawyer, CMS Brussels & Philippe Vlaemminck, EL Legal Adviser.

From eight isolated regional offices, the flagship stores are now found in prime locations around Belgium, with excellent visibility and marketing value!
Don’t miss out on a live draw!
After the workshop, participants are warmly invited to attend the live Wednesday draw of The National Lottery of Belgium, also at the flagship store. In order to be closer to its players, create a more prestigious winner’s experience and be able to tell its story better, The National Lottery of Belgium has to date opened 10 flagship stores across the country. The possibility for the players to attend a live draw in such a setting is unique in Europe.
